As twilight fell on April 12th, Haikou’s historic Qilou Old Street glowed in radiant purple-gold light. Amid century-old stone arcades, a dialogue unfolded between time, craftsmanship, and freedom. ISABELLE.C’s inaugural solo showcase for 2026 launched here, threading through the heart of Hainan’s heritage architecture.

This was no ordinary runway—it marked ISABELLE.C’s first professional showcase on the Mainland, a milestone for Hong Kong’s original design powerhouse. Rooted in Hong Kong with a global vision, the brand revives Intangible Cultural Heritage crafts like Gambiered Canton Silk, Kesi silk tapestry, Chinese brocade, and traditional batik/tie-dye, infusing them with contemporary vitality.
By debuting at Hainan Youth International Fashion Week, ISABELLE.C signals strategic expansion and a profound fusion of Hong Kong design with the Mainland’s fashion scene.

Gambiered Canton Silk exudes quiet elegance. ISABELLE.C elevates it with children’s original artworks—free-spirited lines and vibrant colors—creating subtle tension between youthful whimsy and ancient craft discipline. Each piece becomes an irreproducible duet across generations.

"Geometric Realms": Warm-cool color blocking on the left meets fiery lines and frames on the right, building three-dimensional depth.

A Tale of 9+2 Cities": Bold brushstrokes and high-saturation contrasts capture children’s vitality on fabric.

An inch of Kesi is worth an inch of gold." This ancient "cut silk" technique gains new dimension through innovative tailoring, its interlocking warp and weft echoing Qilou brick textures—each inch warmed by the artisan’s touch.
Gold-Leaf Base Kesi: Gold foil woven into silk yields a dazzling, regal luster, a Yuan Dynasty imperial favorite.

Silver-Leaf Base Kesi: Cool silver develops a unique oxidized patina over time.

Hand-painted silk flows like a brushstroke in one breath; batik and tie-dye emerge from time’s layered immersion. One follows intuition, the other fate—both etching unrepeatable marks on fabric.
