Sustainability & ESG

A piece of clothing, a responsibility

At Isabelle.C, we believe that true sustainability is not only the naturalness of materials, but also the continuation of culture, the symbiosis of craftsmanship and aesthetics, and the wisdom of time in clothing.

(1) OUR FABIRCS:

The cleaning agents, solvents and dyes used in the manufacturing of garments are responsible for one-fifth of the world's industrial water pollution. Isabelle.C is trying to de-industrialize production methods and contribute to the environmental protection and sustainable development of the industry. To achieve this vision, Isabelle.C selects high-quality fabrics from nature – such as fragrant cloud yarn, mulberry silk, triacetate, etc. These materials not only meet the aesthetic standards of haute couture in terms of touch and drape, but also have the advantages of renewability, degradability and low carbon footprint in terms of environmental protection.

1) Xiangyun yarn

Xiangyun yarn is made of natural dioscorea as dye, 100% mulberry silk as the embryo, and is covered with pure natural processes such as sealing and sun drying of the unique river bay pond in the Pearl River Delta. Garments made from Xiangyun yarn have a longer wearing life, reducing the frequency of replacements and wasted resources.

2) Mulberry silk

The mulberry silk used by Isabelle.C is a model of sustainability. Produced by baby silkworms that feed only on mulberry leaves, this fabric grows naturally without the need for chemical pesticides, contributing to a healthy ecosystem balance. At the same time, our dyeing and finishing process adopts an environmentally friendly approach, significantly reducing water and energy consumption.

Today, clothing waste has become a global problem, and about 80% of the world's used clothes end up being incinerated. Isabelle.C wants every garment to return to the environment naturally. Mulberry silk itself is biodegradable, which is undoubtedly environmentally friendly, and also has extremely high strength and durability, extending the service life and reducing the frequency of replacement, thereby reducing the overall consumption of resources.

3) Triacetic acid (acetate)

Isabelle.C uses Triacetate raw materials derived from natural cellulose from sustainable forests, ensuring the responsible use of resources. Its production process is efficient and environmentally friendly, minimizing waste and energy consumption, making it a trusted and environmentally friendly choice for consumers.

In addition to environmentally friendly raw materials and processes, triacetate also has practical advantages: strong wrinkle resistance, which reduces frequent ironing, thus saving energy; Durable and washable, easy to maintain, make clothes last longer, and effectively reduce the need for new clothes.

(2)Seed paper clothing tags

At Isabelle.C, each tag is not only a carrier of information, but also a commitment to nature. We specially use seed paper material to make hang tags, just soak in water and bury them in the soil, you can grow plants, injecting green life into fashion. We adhere to ESG concepts, from material selection to packaging design, and are committed to creating a truly sustainable oriental aesthetic.

(3)Fashion sustainable system

The brand simultaneously builds a "fashion incubation system" to explore and support cutting-edge designers through design competitions, art cooperation and other forms, so that more young creatives can participate in the recreation of intangible cultural heritage fashion. At the same time, it incubates clothing brands and helps different brands bloom beautifully.
