On 21 August 2026, ISABELLE.C was invited to attend the Hong Kong Design Summit & BDA Brand Award 2026 Award Presentation Ceremony, held at The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong, where the brand was honoured with the BDA Brand Award 2026 Grand Award.
Recognised for its continued exploration of contemporary expressions of Chinese intangible cultural heritage, innovation in Eastern aesthetics, and the convergence of art and fashion, ISABELLE.C stood out among a distinguished group of brands. The award represents professional recognition of the brand’s creativity, cultural value and design practice.
For a brand born in Hong Kong, rooted in traditional culture while creating through the language of international fashion, receiving the Grand Award is more than an accolade. It is an important affirmation of ISABELLE.C’s continued exploration of the possibilities where culture, art and contemporary design intersect.
PART 1 — The Award Ceremony
Among the distinguished brands recognised at the ceremony, ISABELLE.C received the BDA Brand Award 2026 Grand Award, with Founder and Creative Director Ms. Camille Xiong taking the stage to accept the honour.
The Certificate of Grand Award was presented to Ms. Camille Xiong by Mr. Bosco Leung, Social Responsibility Lead of MTR Corporation Limited.

Since its establishment, ISABELLE.C has continued to explore one fundamental question:
When art enters fashion, how can traditional culture be reinterpreted and brought to new life through contemporary design?
Receiving the BDA Brand Award 2026 Grand Award not only recognises the brand’s creative journey to date, but also reinforces its conviction in the path it has chosen — to take culture as its foundation, design as its language, and art as its perspective, allowing tradition not merely to be preserved, but to continue evolving through reinterpretation in a contemporary context.

In a media interview, Ms. Camille Xiong, Founder and Creative Director of ISABELLE.C, Chairman of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Affairs at the Greater Bay Area Economic and Trade Association, Honorary President of the Hong Kong Island Women’s Association, and Executive Vice President, Association of Industries and Commerce of Hong Kong Southern District (SDCA), said:
“ We are deeply honoured to receive the BDA Brand Award 2026 Grand Award. For ISABELLE.C, this recognition is both an encouragement for our continued exploration and a reaffirmation of our long-term direction — to build upon intangible cultural heritage and traditional culture while expressing it through contemporary design.
ISABELLE.C was born in Hong Kong, a city that has always connected East and West. This gives us two perspectives in our creative practice: on the one hand, a deep understanding of Chinese culture and Eastern aesthetics; on the other, the ability to view the East through the silhouettes, structures and design language of contemporary international fashion.
At the same time, ISABELLE.C has always embraced ‘ART IS FASHION’ as a core brand philosophy, treating art as a fundamental language of fashion creation and traditional culture as a creative resource open to reinterpretation.
We therefore collaborate with Hong Kong Young Talents artists and established artists, transforming their original artworks through printing and dyeing techniques onto rare and exquisite fabrics. The colours and spontaneous brushstrokes of the artworks extend into the movement of the garments. These free, unconventional yet deeply emotive marks embody the authentic vitality of art itself.
In an era of increasing homogenisation, we believe that what holds true value is often found in the creative traces and emotions that cannot simply be replicated.
What we hope to create is not a simple reproduction of tradition, but new connections between tradition and contemporaneity, East and West, art and fashion. We want art to become more than something to be viewed — to be transformed into a wearable and sensorial form of contemporary expression. In the same way, tradition should not only be preserved, but continue to grow within new cultural contexts.”
From Design Exchange to New Possibilities for Collaboration
The BDA Brand Award 2026 brought together professional voices from design, branding, culture and creative industries, and business sectors in Hong Kong and beyond. Through the award ceremony and its various exchange platforms, the event created opportunities for dialogue, exchange and cross-disciplinary connections.
During the event, Ms. Camille Xiong exchanged ideas with guests and professionals from different fields. ISABELLE.C’s brand philosophy and creative practice also attracted attention from representatives across the design, cultural and business communities.
Every meaningful exchange creates the possibility of a new connection. Looking ahead, ISABELLE.C will continue to explore opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration and international exchange, enabling creative expressions rooted in the East to enter into new conversations across cultures and professional contexts.

Ms. Yvonne Ip, Acting Commissioner for Cultural and Creative Industries, Ms. Mui Kinoshita, Chairman of the Hong Kong Designers Association, and distinguished guests exchange views with Ms. Camille Xiong on the brand’s creative philosophy.

The BDA Brand Award, organised by the Hong Kong Designers Association (HKDA), is recognised as Hong Kong’s first and only brand award recognised by HKDA and the professional design community. The award receives nominations from professional designers and industry organisations, and has gained the recognition and support of major corporations, industry organisations and hundreds of distinguished brands.
Past winners include iconic Hong Kong brands and organisations such as AIRSIDE, Anta, Hong Kong Tramways, Chow Sang Sang, Hong Kong Science and Technology Park, TamJai SamGor Mixian and Maxim’s Group.
At a time when brands increasingly rely on visual identity, truly enduring brand design extends far beyond logos, packaging or visual style. It encompasses a coherent expression of brand philosophy, cultural values, design language, user experience and market value.

ISABELLE.C’s receipt of the BDA Brand Award 2026 Grand Award represents comprehensive recognition of its creative design, cultural value and innovative practice. The honour marks an important milestone in the development of ISABELLE.C.
From Hong Kong fashion platforms such as CENTRESTAGE, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, and the Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show, to regional and international exchanges including Thailand Fashion Week and Hainan International Youth Fashion Week; from the artistic platform of the Mostra parallela of the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia to being among the first brands to enter Beijing’s Guoyun New Chinese Culture Salon, ISABELLE.C continues to move across diverse fields of fashion, art and culture, exploring the possibilities of Eastern aesthetics within contemporary contexts through cross-regional and cross-cultural exchange.
Looking ahead, ISABELLE.C will continue to take Chinese culture as its foundation and contemporary design and art as bridges, advancing the creative transformation of traditional craftsmanship within contemporary contexts.
The brand believes that creations carrying cultural memory and the spirit of craftsmanship should not only be preserved, but also worn, experienced and reinterpreted by the world.
From Hong Kong to the world, ISABELLE.C brings the beauty of the East into a global dialogue — and through the eyes of the world, continues to redefine contemporary Eastern aesthetics.
