ISABELLE.C successfully debuted its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, “Contour of Ethereal Weaves” (綺境織華), at Thailand Fashion Week, marking a new milestone in the brand’s expansion across Asia.

Rooted in China’s Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH), the collection celebrates the artistry of traditional craftsmanship, featuring Kesi (tapestry silk) and Xiangyunsha (gambiered gauze) as its central threads. Drawing inspiration from natural dyeing techniques—such as soybean dye and tie-dye—paired with vintage silk damask, ISABELLE.C evokes a poetic dialogue between ancient craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Through global exposure, millennia-old techniques are reimagined with a modern sensibility, empowering Oriental heritage to shine with renewed, liberated vitality.

Spanning four heritage fabric series and 19 curated looks, the collection embodies ISABELLE.C’s philosophy: tradition is not a relic of the past but a living, evolving art of sustainable inheritance.

Kesi / Tang Brocade Series

This series fuses two pinnacle weaving arts—Kesi, revered as “carved silk” for its intricate interrupted warp and continuous weft technique, and Tang Brocade, a symbol of Tang Dynasty grandeur that harmonizes Han-Wei elegance with Western motifs.

The series merges these “twin jewels” into haute couture tailoring: Kesi defines the intricate detailing, while Tang Brocade structures the silhouette. By lightening traditional density with streamlined forms, ISABELLE.C transforms heritage textiles into wearable art.

Silver Foil Kesi: Pure silver foil base woven with dense Kesi textures, creating a luminous relief effect.

24K Gold Foil Kesi: Rich in geometric layering, this design uses 24K gold foil for luxury and oxidation resistance.

Geometric Fusion: Silver foil Kesi with floral motifs on a geometric grid, tailored as a modern Mandarin-collared suit.

Auspicious Serpentine Series: Tang Brocade leather handbags, blending opulence and utility.

Crafted with the pinnacle "Silver-Glass Weave" technique in colorful gold Kesi silk, the fabric radiates a natural luster that epitomizes the elegant texture of Tang Brocade.

Featuring a contemporary short Qipao silhouette, this piece achieves a seamless fusion of heritage and modernity—bringing ancient brocade into the present day.

Gambiered Canton Silk Series

Known as “Soft Gold,” Xiangyunsha undergoes the ancient “three steamings, nine boilings, eighteen sun-exposures” technique. The interplay of Dioscorea cirrhosa dye and river mud yields a twilight-like texture.

In tribute to cultural heritage, this series incorporates prints based on children’s drawings from Hong Kong—infusing innocence into masterful fabric. Relaxed, fluid silhouettes reinterpret this earthy treasure as “flowing moonlight,” balancing durability with effortless grace.

Color-Blocking & Patchwork: Blending traditional textures with modern cuts to resonate with a younger audience. (Printed patterns adapted from original artworks by Hong Kong children)

“Lingnan Rhyme” Fusion: Inspired by children’s art, featuring draped skirts and oversized suits with Chinese frog buttons. (Printed patterns adapted from original artworks by Hong Kong children)

Poetic Landscapes: Prints adapted from children’s oil paintings—burnt reds, ochre yellows, and forest greens capturing the cycles of life.

The patterns on the skirt originate from original oil paintings by children in Hong Kong, artistically reimagined and printed onto Xiangyunsha (gambiered gauze).

The bold sweeps of color evoke the natural world’s terrains and tides:

  • Deep reds resemble the embers of a setting sun;

  • Amber yellows trace the intricate textures of rock strata;

  • Greens mirror the rhythmic sway of mountain forests brushed by the wind.

In a continuous cycle of life and renewal, these innocent brushstrokes find a poetic intersection with the timeless Oriental fabric.

Tie-Dyeing & Soy Dyeing Series

"Ethereal Realm" (綺境) captures the indigo and white of the deep Yunnan-Guizhou mountains, while "Woven Splendor" (織華) embodies the poetic essence of natural growth. Inheriting the Intangible Cultural Heritage of botanical dyeing, we use wax knives as pens and soybeans or herbs as ink to etch ethnic totems and natural textures onto raw silk.

The techniques of tie-dyeing and soybean-dyeing are complex, demanding the utmost mastery from artisans. By using minimalist silhouettes to dissolve traditional heaviness, we transform this "harmony between humanity and nature" into poetic haute couture growing within an ethereal realm. Every irregular vein upon the sleeves is a vivid radiance woven by nature and handcraft, allowing the deep mountain indigo to bloom with the beauty of authentic high fashion on the contemporary runway.

Gradient Dyeing: Subtle transitions in color achieved by precision binding and immersion.

Double-Sided Dyeing: A rare technique creating differing patterns on each side.

Vintage Silk

A spotlight of the season, the “Hundred-Family Robe” (百家衣) is crafted from vintage silk brocade and damask. If Kesi symbolizes skill, and Xiangyunsha represents nature, then the Hundred-Family Robe speaks to universal love. Every fragment of silk carries a past life, stitched together in a dopamine-inspired color palette—an homage to rebirth through modern form.

Dreams Without Borders: Special Collaboration

In collaboration with Thailand Fashion Week’s “No Age to Achieve Your Dreams” program, senior models took the runway to embody timeless confidence. Their grace reaffirmed ISABELLE.C’s belief that beauty transcends age, and dreams never fade.

From workshop to world stage, ISABELLE.C continues to weave craftsmanship into global fashion dialogue—each thread a living expression, each garment a modern articulation of Oriental aesthetics.

Crafted with a foundation of Gambiered Canton Silk, this piece is adorned with exquisite fifty-year-old vintage embroidery. The floral and butterfly motifs across the bodice are meticulously hand-stitched, paired with artisanal Gambiered Canton Silk boots to complete the look. Within every needle and every thread lies the soul of true craftsmanship.

The jacket is crafted from fifty-year-old vintage silk damask as the primary fabric, paired with a modern architectural blazer silhouette and wide-leg trousers.

The verdant cyan-green motifs on the bodice meld naturally with the base hue of the textile. Complemented by handcrafted Xiangyunsha (gambiered gauze) patchwork boots, the model exudes a sense of serene confidence and effortless poise.

ISABELLE.C Honored with Prestigious Award at Thailand Fashion Week.
